Basic flow of a digital wallet transaction

In general, the flow of a Digital Wallet transaction is very simple, and may vary according to each Digital Wallet.

  1. User chooses the payment method with Digital Wallet and chooses the name of the Digital Wallet.

  2. The Automation collects the Customer's identification as requested by the chosen Digital Wallet. Additional fields may be requested. (CPF, CNPJ, Telephone, Token, User ID, Customer QR Code)

  3. If the digital wallet uses identification using the Merchant's QR Code, the user will be asked to read the QR Code through the Digital Wallet application. The QR Code is either already displayed at the establishment or is displayed by Automation at the POS or on the Pinpad if it is supported.

  4. (If requested) User confirms the Digital Wallet transaction in their Digital Wallet application or enters the password/token in Pinpad. Depending on the Digital Wallet, other data may be requested.

  5. If successful, the transaction is completed and the receipt can be issued.
