Presentation
This document aims to describe the technical aspects of the SiTef Client system interface, with a TEF requesting terminal. A TEF requesting terminal is understood as application software that enables the capture of data from a financial transaction or check inquiry that involves an electronic transfer of funds, or a consultation of documents, thus generating debits and credits in the current accounts in question (of the Customer and the retailer). It is the responsibility of the TEF requesting Terminal to collect some transaction data, display the response and print the TEF coupon.
The SiTef Client is responsible for collecting additional data to the transaction, for reading magnetic cards if the transaction requires this and through the formatting of messages and communication with Authorizing Networks competent. Authorizing Networks, in turn, are responsible for the transaction authorization process. The SiTef Client is an interface used to connect terminals requesting transfer operations electronic transfer of funds with the administrators responsible for this transfer.
The execution of a TEF transaction requires a series of information, according to the technical specifications of each administrator, which are generated both in the SiTef Client itself, depending on adopted standards and configurations, as coming from TEF requesting terminals. SiTef Client was developed in such a way that the amount of information required from terminals solicitors was as small as possible, aiming to simplify its operation and development. Therefore, this document will describe what information and how the requesting terminals should send messages to the SiTef Client.
SiTef Client contains an executable module developed for the Windows platform. The activation of this software will be carried out by the TEF requesting Terminal through the exchange of small files containing the transaction parameters.
