“Output” parameter format (FieldType 670)

Upon return, the routine returns 0 if it was able to read the field and another value in case of an error or if the Cancel key was pressed on the pinpad.
If one of the interactive functions is used, the data will be returned through CliSitef's TypeField 670. During the interactive process, the format of this field is the same as the Output parameter returned in direct routines.
If prohibited word(s) are used to be displayed on the pinpad display both to collect information and to confirm it on the pinpad, CliSiTef will return a prohibited word error when collecting data from the pinpad (-21). One of the prohibited words to be used is “PASSWORD”. Example: “Enter your Password:”.
