Indicative of the existence of a prescription
In Sales transactions with a Medical Prescription Indicator, this field serves to inform whether the sale whether or not you have a prescription. It is a numeric field and is 1 byte in size. You can take on the following values:

| 0 | Does not have a Medical Prescription (or if field 250-007 is absent). |
| 1 | Have a prescription |
